Stephen Ministry
Stephen Ministry is a one-on-one dictinctively Christian caring ministry. Stephen Ministers have been prepared for this ministry with 60 hours of training, plus on-going classes and peer-group supervision. It is open to anyone going through a transitional time in his/her life (loss of a job, extended illness, divorce, crisis situation, family problems, etc.). If you live in the area and would like to have a Stephen Minister assigned to you call the church office at 238-2631 and leave your name and phone number. Your message will be returned by a Stephen Leader who will work with you and assign a Stephen Minister that will call you back and set up an appointment. There are no fees attached and this ministry is strictly confidential. Please visit the Stephen Ministry page.

Men
The Men of the Church meet on the first Saturday of the month for breakfast and fellowship at the Valley Restaurant.

Women
They sponsor the Christ’s Birthday Offering by hosting a Christmas Card Post Office within the church family. The offering is given to missions. Included in this ministry is Trinity Circle and the Wednesday Ladies' Bible Study.

Children
Sunday School is offered at 9:30am for infants through Grade 6. During the Worship Gathering, children in grades K through 4 are invited to participate in Kid's Own Worship, a time of focusing on learning stories from God’s Word. Throughout the year there are special activities at church and in the community that help them learn Christian Service. The children of West Court are very precious and it is vital that we help them grow into the persons Jesus desires. All of our workers in the children's department have completed background checks and training.

Small Groups
Small Groups take place in the homes of church family members throughout the year. Most small groups meet regularly from fall to spring with a summer break. People are given the opportunity to choose the Small Group they would like to attend, and we try to make one available in their area.

Cookie Ministry
This ministry of hospitality is led by Carrie Kupisch. She draws upon the skill of some of the bakers in the church. They prepare cookies to be taken to each visitor’s residence the week after his/her visit.

Rambling Rovers
The Rambling Rovers do what their name implies – they rove. This group is primarily made up of recently retired persons of any age. They meet ten months out of the year. They usually meet in the evening when they are in town at someone’s home. The Rambling Rovers do what their name implies they rove over the countryside to places like Toronto or Stratford, Canada to see a play, to Holland, MI for the Tulip Festival, to the River Crab for dinner, or to Montreat in North Carolina for the CBH Conference.

DVD Ministry
Each week our worship services are videotaped. Doug Bittner makes copies of DVD's for anyone who desires one. There is a charge of $2 per DVD for this ministry. Orders are placed at Grand Central or by calling the church office.

Living Nativity Pageant
West Court Church has been known by its Living Nativity Pageant for the past sixty years. Early in December members of the Church put up the Nativity barn in the West Court parking lot. People are asked to volunteer to portray the various characters in the pageant on one or more of the three nights it is presented. The Directors, Doug and Marge Bittner, start early in their preparations to secure all the people needed to make this wonderful portrayal a continued success. Costumes, props, lighting, sound, animals, make up, food preparation, and clean up are just some of the many aspects of the pageant they oversee. If you are one of the few in the Flint area that has not witnessed this beautiful pageant, come to the West Court Street Parking lot oad on December 21 – 23 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. to experience it for yourself. The sequences repeat every 20 minutes.
