Sunday School
All Sunday School Classes are held from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m.
Berean’s Class - Mildred Whiteley, Class Facilitator
Following the model of the early church at Berean (Acts 17:10-12) we use the Bridges curriculum to search and apply the Scriptures.
Elective I – Tom Richardson, Class Facilitator
We are currently using the curriculum from Life Guide Bible Studies and studying the Books of the Bible.
Seeker’s Class – Chris Walker, Class Facilitator
The Seekers Class meets in the lower level of the church. This group has a wide range of ages and backgrounds. Our primary goal is to Seek after God’s will. We maintain a list of prayer requests with dates of the request and dates answered. We are currently using a study titled, “Facing Your Giants: A David & Goliath Story for Everyday People" by Max Lucado. Relaxed classroom.
One Another – Doug Bittner, Class Facilitator
We are an adult learning group that believes God’s Word is necessary and relevant in transforming our daily lives. Worship, personal growth and fellowship come through Bible study, prayer and group interaction. Application of what we learn provides opportunities to witness and minister to others as we exercise our Spiritual gifts. Class materials are the Holy Bible (any modern translation) and currently we are studying the Bridges Curriculum published by Church of God Ministries, Inc., Anderson, IN.
Young Adults – Kathy Carrithers, Class Facilitator
This class looks at the news in a different light. We look at the headlines through the Bible and God’s perspective. We review and discuss how these current events impact our daily lives and how Scripture can, should, and will help us deal with them.
Youth Ministry
Our purpose is to help youth and their families Know, Love, Live, and Share Jesus Together. We have weekly activities for youth in grades 7-12.
Our two main opportunities to meet are:
Sunday School in “The Loft”. This is a time to learn and know more about
God through instruction and discussion. Donuts provided weekly.
Youth Encounter meets Wednesday nights in “Upper Room” from 6:00-7:30 p.m. It is a place to show love to God and to others and to be loved in return.
Children’s Ministry
We want to assist our parents by helping their children develop good spiritual habits such as prayer, Scripture memory, worship, and giving. We want to help our children appreciate the love and power of the awesome God we serve, and want them to develop a compassion for others that encompasses the whole world.
Early Childhood Ministries (ECM)
This encompasses the following stages of learning:
Babies (6 weeks to steady walkers)
Toddlers (steady walkers to age 2)
Two-Year-Olds (age 2 to 3+)
Preschool & K (potty trained through kindergarten)
We offer Sunday School from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. and     Extended Session from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Kids Own Worship (for children in Kindergarten through Grade 4) meets in the Chapel during the Worship Gathering.
